My main use for it was when you were reading in bed, or reclining on a couch. This was when your arms and hands get cold and it is impossible to tuck the blanket around yours arms and still give youself room to hold your book. It kills me on a dailynbasis, now, to read about all the millions of dollars those guys have made. I have still not bought one, and won't do do until they attach fingerless gloves to the ends of the sleeves. Only then will it be perfect!!!!
