Who’s Going To Ride Your Wild Zorses?

I once again save you a trip to the circus, but this time it isn’t because I set you up with a dwarf.

Just like Michael Jackson with anything, I wasn’t aware that Zebras and Horses could mate and produce offspring. This is the part where you make a joke and say “Uh, there’s a lot you don’t know about mating, David”. Anyhow, said offspring is known as the “Zorse” a name which must have won out over “Horbra”, although I’m not sure why.

Similar to that strange uncle of yours, the zorse apparently has fewer chromosomes than a regular horse, though more than a zebra, and can only result when the father is a zebra. I know, fascinating, but just like you probably didn’t know about Ligers until you watched Napoleon Dynamite, I have a feeling you too were ignorant of the Zorse, so check out this story about one in The New Zealand Herald.
